Thinking about purchasing the VR407. Options include: DD/DTS/ProLogic decoding, 5.1 inputs, 100wX5, Sub out, base boost, coax/optical inputs, s-video inputs, 3a/v inputs and some other features. I have seen it for $299. Any comments on this reciever? Have you seen this at a lower price? Any help appreciated.

I have had a Kenwood Vr-407 for about 3 weeks now and have been very happy with it. It was easy to set up, and has all the inputs I need. As for the price I got mine for $289 with 3 free speakers. You could probaly find it cheaper though.
