I have a relatively new Sony 27" TV I paid about $450 for a little over a year ago. Now that I'm enjoying DVDs I'm considering upgrading to a 16:9 TV and wondering if I could get much for a used TV. Anyone have any idea what I could get for it or if its worth it to even try? I don't have much need for it as a spare set and abhor the idea of a bedroom set. ( I'd never be able to sleep with all those movies to watch) The Want Advertiser is a local publication that might help me. Anyone have experience with this?

I sold mine to a friend for $100 a few weeks ago. It was a 27" Sony about 6 years old. Since yours is so new maybe you could ask $225, half what you bought it for. Of course, you could always try asking for more and hope you get it!

If it's still a current model go about 2/3 of the new price. You can always lower the price if it doesn't sell, you can't go up though.
