I just bought a Sony DVP-560 and went browsing on the internet to get some more information on it (mainly for a region chip ) and I found this site that said the Samsung Nuvo (or something with a similar sounding name) would be a better buy as it has more features etc. I just bought this DVD player a couple of days ago, so I still have time to go and return it and get a new/better one. That's where your opinions come in .
Thanks In advance.

I think you are referring to the Samsung NUON based DVD player. The only thing it has is the NUON technology which was designed to compete against things like the PS2. NUON is pretty new. It is also not that well supported and more fluff then anything in my opinion although there are some games based on NUON technology coming out which don't look that impressive. Also Samsung does not have a good reputation as far as DVD players go. If I were you I would stick with the Sony. It's a good brand, very reliable and pretty much no DVD software incompatibilities.
