It looks like Samsung Plasma is the best bet now that Panasonic is out of the picture.

I managed to find one in a store in AZ that does a lot of deliveries. I bought their last Panasonic Plasma model. It was a 50 inch, new in box, 1-year warranty. I paid for "white glove delivery" which was an extra $100 so the shippers brought it in the house, unpacked it so I could fire it up and check it out before "accepting" it. I had a BD player waiting and plugged it in and carefully inspected the screen for pixel issues. I also ran through most of the menus, etc before I signed and accepted it. It all checked out, so I'm good for another couple of years!
