I want to get the Yamaha 596 from buy.com, but since they are not an "authorized" dealer, the warranty is no good. I've tried calling the retailers in my area, but they only sell the warranties on products purchased from them. Can you purchase extended warranties seperately? From where? Thanks.

Check your credit cards, many of them will extend the manufactuerers warranty or offer one of their own
