Flexible HDMI cable?

I'm looking for a good HDMI cable that's not super stiff like the current HDMI cables I have. Does anyone know if the 28# cables from Monoprice are fairly flexible? Blue Jeans Cable says their 28# are, but they also cost a bit more than Monoprice. I ask because I'm going to be wall mounting my plasma above the fireplace in my new place. There is a nook just to the right of the fireplace that is perfect for my AV component stack, and I want to surface mount the cable for now, before figuring a way of running it inside the wall, so I need a flexible cable that will go around the corner well.

I don't understand your question quite well, but maybe something like this can work:

http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...seq=1&format=2

And there are more adapters with different degrees.

You can watch for these to become available again:

They usuallly sell out fast since they are occasionally on sale for less than $3.00 each.

Re: Flexible HDMI cable?

I ran into same problem as well - i have very limited space for cable as my HT is hanging on the wall (samsung tx250) and there is not enough space in the back + cable is running behind a shelf in a small cable channel. I can't find anything that's thin and flexible to keep it hidden, so i just have it hanging over the shelf connecting to TV.

Amazon has flat HDMI cables as well. They're a little pricier than $3.00 (I saw some in the $15-$17 range).

Re: Flexible HDMI cable?

I have all mono cables and they work great. The HDMI are flexible enough to go around corners with no problem. But mounting a tv above a fireplace? Why would you do that? I have a few friends who did that and it is horrible. Looking up to watch and they having a distracting fire right below the screen in winter. To each his own.
