Question on getting BD Live on BR
Just got today Batman Begins on Blu and I first put it in my PS3 to compare extras against my DVD. Well the PS3 asked if I wanted to connect the BD-Live portion so of course I said yes and got to see the picture in picture material during the movie.
i tried that on my Panasonic BR and while the option to select it was still there, when the 2nd screens popped up there was no sound coming out of them, just the movie.
Now I've tried to view other stuff using BD Live but I'm told my BR doesn't have internet hooked up to it.
Is there something I need to buy or request from Panasonic to connect it to the internet so I don't have to use the PS3 for all that?

Knowing the model number of the Panasonic would help. Basically it needs an Ethernet port on the back and be Profile 2.0.
But I think you're confusing BD-Live with picture-in-picture commentary. They aren't necessarily the same thing.
When it comes to PIP commentary, here's where things get confusing. On pretty much every player except the PS3, you need to go into the player's setup menu (the player's menu, not the disc menu), and under the audio options enable Secondary Audio. If you don't do this, you don't get the audio with the picture-in-picture commentary.
You don't want to leave Secondary Audio enabled all the time, though, because the player is downmixing the lossless audio (Dolby True HD or DTS-MA) to Dolby Digital and mixing it with the secondary audio track. If you leave Secondary Audio enabled, you'll only hear lossy Dolby Digital or DTS.
Again, the PS3 is the exception to this rule, which is why the track worked fine on that and not the Panasonic.
As to whether the Panasonic is capable of BD-Live, we'll need to know the model number.
