Problem with my DLP set. Help please?

Hope someone can help. I have a Toshiba TheaterWide HD 52HM84 DLP set. I've noticed an odd band that rises up the screen at regular intervals. It's basically a translucent band, about one inch thick, that runs the length of the TV. I see it on movies and HD TV shows. It runs from the bottom to the top at the same steady pace.

Ideas? Need more details?

It's a ground loop. Ground your cable or sat lines properly and it will probably go away.

I wouldn't invest that kind of money into old technology like that. After all, that's 85¢ you could put towards a new LED.
