What am I missing????

Hi guys,
Question:
I have a wd 73835 mitsubishi and a Onkyo 507 receiver..
My connections are:
Blu-Ray,HD player and VHS player are all connected to receiver via
hdmi...I have the hdmi "Out" from the receiver to the HDMI "in" on
the TV..(I also have the DTV DVR connected directly to the TV via
Hdmi..also have a Audio hook up from the TV to the receiver..
Problem is I don't have video, not sure where that connection is.
Any help would be appreciate or any suggestions for a different
connection set-up..
tks,
DG

You don't have video on what input? What device?

I am sorry but I have no idea what you are asking.

Perhaps try connecting each device one at a time and verify that it works and then move on to the next one.

Re: What am I missing????

You don't need an audio connection from the tv, to the receiver, unless you're getting your tv from an antenna. The DVR should also connect to the receiver, via HDMI. As far as getting video, it should just be a matter of making sure the tv is set on the right input, and making sure the receiver is set for HDMI output.

What are you calling the HD player? A Toshiba HD DVD player (blu ray's competition), or an upconverting dvd player? If it's an upconverting dvd player, you shouldn't really need it (unless you just particularly want it there), since you have a blu ray player. It upconverts dvds too.

You have a VHS player connected by HDMI? Never heard of one of those, so can't comment on it.

Disneyguy I think what Brian is asking is What are you not getting video from? If you use the AVR every time you watch a movie(dvd or vhs),why not just run everything thru your AVR?

Like they said; start isolating. Hook things up directly through the S-video and RCA. If none of it works it's the whole TV.
