The easy answer is not many if any.
The harder answer is that I've seen speculation that certain cheap CD-R's work in the player, like compUSA or some other brand that escapes me, but thats all second-hand conjecture on my part, I have not personally tried. I know I tried a Maxell in my SD-1200 to no success, and I think every other major brand (sony, memorex, TDK, etc) have been tried as well without success. So go buy a Pacific Digital or other cheapy brands and let us know what you find
Hope this helps in some small way.

I searched Deja and one person did mention "CompUSA".
However, I looked at the CompUSA website, and they don't list any "CompUSA" CD-Rs!
Are they only sold in the b&m stores?
