Raite AV 715 DVD problems

I have problems playing the following DVD movies on Raite AV715:
1. Carnosaur- Cannot play the movie, the menu screen comes up with "Parental viotation." I try to change the codes of parental protection from preference menu, but it still cannot work.
2.Plunkett & Macleane- Cannot play the movie, the screen comes up with "invalid entry."
Both are Region code 1. I have tried both DVDs with my friend's DVD player (other brand), it works o.k. Any suggestion and solution for this? Thank you very much.
