Region Free Hack for JVC DVD Player
Does anyone know how to make a JVC XV-S40BK region free? I know there is a way but when you do it does it affect the DVD Player in any other way than making it region free? Like does it stop any previous features or anything?

There is a hack posted at VideoHelp.com, but the one person who tried it said it didn't work. Here are the posted instructions:
