I just pulled the trigger on a new TV.
The time has finally come for me to replace my trusty yet venerable Sony KV 36XBR250 CRT TV. I just clicked to order the Samsung HL-T6187s DLP and matching stand from Amazon. When it arrives and gets all set up I'll be sure to post a review and pics. I had narrowed the field down to this one and the universally lauded Panasonic TH-50PX75U 50" 720p Plasma, but after viewing both at BB, and discussing it with my wife (who said "You should get the bigger one." What a woman!) I picked the Sammy. LED light engine, 1080p, piano black cabinet... I can't wait!

Congrats. I got the 56" about a month ago, Its been great. My parents got a LCD the same day for about 1000$ more. It allowed me to get an Oppo, new tivo HD box, and my new HSU sub.
It is a beautiful TV with a great picture and price.

Just ordered an Oppo DV-980H... This could get expensive (especially once the format war ends)

Time to play some Carly. Play it really loud when the delivery guy gets to your door.

No doubt!
Yeah, I got over the berserker thing more than a decade ago.
Last night I went through the DVR changing my series recordings from the SD channels to the HD channels. Good times...

It's here! I think the delivery dude was as excited as I was. Crikey, this TV is damn_big! (but wonderfully light, especially compared to the 36" Sony WEGA it's replacing) I'm tuning the settings and taking frequent breaks to wipe the drool off my chin. I'll post pics and a review sometime this weekend.
