Speaker prob.. help pls
i just bought a dvd player 2 days ago.. and i realised my old speaker(which come with the LG dvd player) cant be plug in to my new Philips dvd player. the prob is the wire head are not the same.
The top is the new and the bottom is the old one. as u guys can see, the speakers wire are being "clipped" by the "clippers" of the new dvd.. when i take out the wires.. they have no head jus like some fray wire so i suppose u have to clip it for it work.
but my new dvd(on top), do not has such clippers. how do i fix? please help thx in adv

It looks like your problem is that your old DVD player wasn't just a DVD player, but more of a "home theater in a box" type of system. The DVD player had an amplifier built into it to power the speakers. Your new DVD player is just a DVD player and is incapable of driving speakers, regardless of what type of plugs are on your speaker wires.
You either need to return your new DVD player and buy something else, or buy a new home theater in a box to go with it.

Well he could just output the sound from his new DVD player to the old one an duse the old one as a receiver. But if he wants it all in one, then he'll need something else and I'd agree with the above.

Some do. It looks like that might be a coaxial In, the pic wasn't intended to read the words, I'm sure. But the word doesn't look long enough to be Out.
Of course, the Philips would have to have a coax out, which I don't see in this pic. Or an optical with a $20 adapter to coax.
