DVD Players w/upconversion AND dynamic range compression feature?
I'm seriously considering jumping into getting a DVD player that upconverts to 720p via HDMI, has optical audio out, and most importantly since I'm in an apartment, has a feature to compress the dynamic range (such like Panasonics do) so that I'm not constantly fiddling with volume control. Suggestions?

Never use D-range-comp!!!!
Movie sounds should flow through all the rooms in your house, making it sound like the lobby of a mega-plex.
When my noise poloution wakes my mom up and she yells at me I just tell her, "Hey, do you want your only son to have a substandard movie experiance????" that always works.
