Cable Question

I'm looking to buy an HDMI cable from Monoprice.com since I have heard good things about them. However, I have no idea what the differences are between cables.

They have 22, 24, 26 & 28 AWG cables. The 22 & 24 AWG are called "High-Quality."

Assuming cost is not a factor and I only need 5 or so feet of cable, do I go with the thickest, highest number for the best cable?

Edited to add more questions...

What does a net-jacket do for you? The 24 AWG with net-jacket is more expensive - is it better?

Lower AWG number means thicker cable. Thicker is better. For 6 feet, 24AWG is more than enough, I assure you. 28 is probably more than enough.

Thanks for the reply. I just went with the most expensive assuming it would be the best Ordered yesterday, it shipped 5 minutes later. Should have it tomorrow.

(Though I think they just gave me a shipping number and didn't actually ship it until today since I could have driven less than an hour to pick it up - but the $6 shipping is probably cheaper than the gas it would have taken me to get there)

Can't wait Of course, I need my TV and receiver to arrive first.

I bought a 25ft HDMI cable for my PJ and really the only thing I looked at was that is was rated for "in wall" use, since I was going up in my attack. When I rec'd it, I was surprised how thick the thing was! I'm going to have to modify one of the face plates I have near my PJ just to get it through the ceiling!

Yea, great prices!!! Also on shipping I noticed that once it gets over $4.00 or so, it goes up pretty slowly after that. So if you can find a couple of other small things that you might need, it stretches out that shipping cost. For example when I went back to Monoprice and pick up a DVI > HDMI plug, I think shipping was like $4.00 or something. Adding two more short HDIM cables only raised the shipping to like $4.60 or something.
