TV Help For A Friend
I have a friend that is moving into a new house at the end of the month. She is looking to upgrade her existing TV and below is some of the requirements:
42 Inches Minimum
Plasma
HD (Ability to receive and display HD broadcasts)
Inputs for DVD player and VCR/DVR
$1,200-1,700 (Slight possibility of going up to $2,000 if there is something that much better, but that would be the absolute maximum)
TV will ideally last as primary viewing device for 5 years
Upgrade to either HD-DVD or BLU-RAY at least a year away, probably longer
Will need to be purchased within the next month
She will probably want to get it at one the Big Box stores for convenience. The only brand she has mentioned is Panasonic.
Any help would be appreciated.
