DivX HD files
Hi,
I've been playing DivX downloads for over a year now on various DVD players without problem. Recently I downloaded a couple of DivX files which were twice the size of the normal hour long TV avi files. These played perfectly on the PC using WMP; the quality was excellent. However, when I copy them to DVD none of my players would show any picture. The sound was there but no picture.
Does anyone know if this is the DivX version, all my players are at least a year old, or something else?
Are there more modern DVD players that will play these files. I'm sorry to be a bit vague about the file format but I don't have much to go on.
Thanks for any info.

More to go on
Since I posted this I've found out:
why 700mb:
- 540p video. 960x528 res (2.3 times more resolution then standard def 352p [350mb file])
- 5.1 Dolby Digital AC3 Audio @ 384k or 448k bitrate
Does anyone know any DVD players that can handle this ??

Very few as far as I'm aware. Here's a list from DivX's site:

Thanks for that. Unfortuanatly none of these players are available in Europe. My other option is just buy another PC and plug it into my Toshiba projector but this is an expensive choice.
