vizio hd lcd's

Hello Everyone...
I have been in the market for an HDTV LCD for a while and I saw the other day a Vizio 37" HD LCD for less than a thousand at my local costco. I have a Vizio digital camera and it works really well but i'm not that sure about the TV's. What does anyone think about the tv's?

Thanks!

I don't know anything about the the TV, but with Costco's return policy, I would buy it and see how you like it. I paid $1300 for a 26 inch LCD a year ago - this sounds like a good deal if you like the set.

I don't know anything about the Vizio TVs, but recently saw the 1080p Westinghouse 37" model for $1049 at Sam's Club. If they are available in your area, that might be another option to consider.

I've had the 37(before) & the 42glv (now). While they might not have quite the picture compared to the higher-end vendors, it's probably tough to be the price/performance. The 37 actually seemed to have a slightly better picture than the 42 (the bigger screen just magnifys the problems), but the 42 has a better set of inputs (2 hdmi's vs 1). The main issue that catches my attention is motion artifacts on HD content (for example on 'the office' the quick camera pans can pixelate areas of the screen, also see it on HD football a little bit). On bright/colorful/slower moving HD content, the picture is pretty damn good.
AVS has huge threads on both the 37 & 42, check those out for in-depth looks.
