The PS2 was never really made for HDTVs. It easily looks the worst on my 55" CRT of that last-gen systems. Interestingly, the Gamecube looks the best (better than the original Xbox).

Although I don't play it very much at all, my PS2 looks fine on my 52" DLP set.

Probably the fault of the TV's upconversion process, some are better than others. Or just the settings.

Back when I had my DLP, Dreamcast looked very impressive with the high-rez setup, others looked pretty decent. Gamecube actually looked better via Svideo than via component, which seems strange.

One of the reasons I went Plasma was because of how bad video games looked on DLP. If you read a DLP manual, they specfically warn against video game use with the monitor. I have a buddy whose media room consists of a 62" DLP for TV/Movies and a 30" CRT HDTV for XBOX.

I had my Original Xbox on my 50" Samsung DLP and now a Xbox 360 and both look(ed) spectacular!

I would never play a video game on a plasma due to the burn in issues.

Josh,
Why would it be bad just for DLP? Not sure why they'd say that. Maybe I'm missing something.
