I have had a Malata 520 for a couple of years and last night experienced a problem. When the disc tray closed, it seemed little rough. Now I cannot get it to re-open. I took the shell of the player off and removed the disc, but cannot figure out how to get it to open back up. I have found this player to be pretty glitchy (it has trouble with the most minute amounts of dust, etc.) and this just seems to be the latest problem. Does this seem like a problem that will cost more than it is worth to fix. Maybe I should just buy a Cyberhome player from Best Buy and remote hack that. Anyway, any help would be appreciated and might alay my frustrations. Also, does anyone know a good place in Los Angeles (the general Los Feliz/Silverlake area) to get this checked out? Thanks.

Had zero problems with mine. I'm about to sell it on Ebay, actually.
