A/V cables longer than normal.

How good do you think this would work? I only see 6' ones in stores. Not sure if quality would drop with a longer cord.

They look like crap quality. Search "cables" or something similar in this forum and you will find some great sites that have great prices on custom sizes. I have one at my work, but can't remember the name. I'll post it tomorrow if someone else doesn't first.

check out monoprice.com. Good quality cables and amazingly low prices.

There are plenty of other good sources, but I always use monoprice and have always been happy.

Twenty feet is a lot of cable, and the question is: Are you going to need that much?. My suggestion is to visit your local A/V home theater specialty stores (if available) that only sell high end, and state of the art A/V equipment, and accessories, because they usually have a wider selection to choose from, than most general B&M department stores.

monoprice

I've been ordering a ton of cables from them since my first order a few weeks ago. Good quality cables for cheap.

I'm using their 25ft component cable for my Infocus X1 projector, and a 25-ft svideo cable is on the way. Along with a mess of the 3-ft and 6-ft s-video, component and optical cables.

monoprice.com all the way for cheap, but decent cables. I bought a 33 foot hdmi cable from them for ~$60 bucks - it works perfectly.

Check out www.cablewholesale.com as well. I had to buy decent (but not expensive) 50 ft. cables when I did my room.
