Problems with Directv TIVO receiver?
Hi,
I have a PHILIPS Model DSR7000/17 TIVO Receiver with Directv built in.
The picture on the receiver sometimes makes this clicking noise and pauses and the picture often gets scrambled or defragmented or pixiated for a second or two during a broadcast.
It does not does do this non-stop but it happens quite frequently.
I had another TIVO receiver in the same room and it would do the same thing.
I think it is a signal or wiring problem.
Also my receiver in the rec room often goes blank on some channels like Fuse, VH1, CSPN, and other channels and on some of the NFL Sunday ticket channels.
I would check my other receivers in the master bedroom and family room and those channels were working.
is there a way to fix these problems?

I have the same one and this happens infrequently.
I think it is when something is being recorded and you change tuners or you have two recordings going at once.
I have never worried about it basically because it is so brief.
