British DVD player in Australia?

Hi Guys!
Does anyone know if you can use a British DVD player (region 2 - Pal) when you have an australian TV?

most british dvd players are region free or hackable to region free. I think if connections work out (I think they use alot of SCART connections) and voltage/adapeter issues are worked out (Brittain is 220v with a wierd plug, I dont know what Austrailla is). Why not just get a dvd player you can hack to all region? that would be easier since you both use PAL.

It'll work just fine in Aus. Aus is 220/240 Volts, same as the UK. You will just need an international adaptor for the socket. Australian TV's are PAL, and therefore so are the Region 4 DVD's. You will often find that UK and Australian discs are dual coded for both region 2 and 4 playback.
