Rear Surround Speakers Needed...HELP

Ok, I want to get some rear surround speakers. I have a JBL 5.1 system, however, when I just moved I left my rear surrounds at my brother's place...they were wired through the ceiling and he didn't want me to take them down...

ANYWAYS...the speakers I have are the small cubes for my fronts with a Sub, i'm looking for a pair of rear speakers that I will put on speaker stands (i don't feel like mounting anything)

So I was looking at Best Buy, and here is what they have: (I guessI would like to get speakers SOON....)

KLH TWO8B

KLH TWO9B

KLH 911B

Sony SSMB150H

Yamaha NS-6490

As you can see, I do NOT want to spend a lot of money...it is tight since I bought the house. Please suggest.....

THANKS!!!!

I am in the same boat as you. I could also really use a recommendation. My Technics rears have been repeatedly knocked off their stands by my dogs. Now they are on their last legs. My center works fine, so I just need the rears...

its not a huge decision. they will most likely ALL sound the same. pick one thats within your budget, you will be fine. you arent going to find a great sounding speaker in that price range, so you might as well go for what is cheap, looks good, and will fit in your space.

I don't know how much of an audiophile you are and how much you want to spend but stay away from all of those IMO. If you're shopping at Best Buy they don't have much in the way of high end but they do carry the JBL Studio line of speakers that I own and I can recommend them for those looking for good sound on a modest budget.

Well, I purchased the JBL N-24II speakers from Best Buy....I will use those as my front surrounds now and move my small cubes to the back. I think eventually I will upgrade my center channel, but not right now.....

Seems you paid about $210 too much. Etronics has the N24IIs for $89.

Circuit has an Infinity speaker called US-1 it has about the same drivers and a built in pivoting wall bracket. I think they are ~$99.

i can actually comment favorably on the US-1's. they are a decent little speaker for what they are.
