Progressive Scan + MultiDisc Player..

I'd like to spend about $250 maximum on a Progressive Scan multiple disc DVD player. I was looking at a Sony one..something with 755p in the title. BUT....I've read many reviews where people say the picture is wonderful, but the audio is flat. I thought that if the your using a digital audio output, any decoding or audio work is done by the receiver. Can anyone clarify this? or maybe send me a reliable weblink with good reviews. Or better yet...let me know what you've got any how you like it! Thanks!

I have two Sony DVD players and like them both. I have no idea what that could mean about the audio.

I have a Panasonic DVD-CP72K 5 disc player, and couldn't be happier with it. Was able to get it for $200 including shipping awhile back. It has the same guts as the 82 I believe, which many feel is the best bang for the buck. Great progressive 5 disc player in my opinion.

My only complaint is, that is quite slow to switch between discs. It is esp. slow when you open the player, put a disc in, and then close it. It reads all 5 discs first, before you can select one to view, I'm sure this is a thing amongst all the players, but I really dislike this. * Note when I say slow I mean a few seconds, but it seems like a long time when you're waiting to get the movie started.
