16:9 Squeeze component hookup Quest.
Hello there, finally went out and bought some component cables on my poor college student budget...Just wanted to make sure if this sounded correct to anyone, I havea Toshiba 4:3: rear projection tv and a hitachi dvd player. Component cables running from dvd player into the high definition input on my tv...The tv is then set for "compressed" mode and the dvd player is set as "widescreen tv" in my video menu...(I seem to get more picture that way then any other mode) If none of this makes any sense, I will try to explain it better. Thanks for the help!
