Need help on a Receiver

I am going to buy a receiver and I need help. I am on a limited budget and having looking at several different brands at Circuitcity.com for about $199.99. Does anyone know which one is the best? The brands are Panasonic, Kenwood, Sony, Pioneer, Sherwood. They all seem pretty similar.

At that price limitation, I would be looking for 5.1 and DTS and a way to reduce the amount of remotes that I have.

I would consider trying to step up a level and buy last years floor model that is at least one level higher in quality.
