what's a good a/v switch box?
I'm looking to get a switch box for my tv, I have my dvd player and game consoles hook up to it, problme is I can only hook one or two at a time so if I want to use one that's not hooked up I have to manually do it.

my dvd player has s-video and my consoles have rca. but i don't need svideo i think since i can just directly hook that in to the tv since i have no other ones. Not sure about price but if it's more than $50 than I'll probably just forget about it

Here's one thing that should work for you:
http://www.radioshack.com/product.as...5Fid=15%2D1976
It accepts four inputs (RCA audio and video, and S video), with one output (RCA audio and video, and S Video) for your TV. It's $35.
It will also convert an RCA signal into an S-Video signal, so you could connect all your consoles, and your DVD player to this box, and then the s video out to the TV, and you wouldn't have to switch your TV's video modes any more.
The device itself requires you using buttons on the device to change between inputs.
I'm sure there are cheaper alternatives, though. Try searching on Radio Shack some more.
