I have a Onkyo 787 and last night watching jurrasic park in dts my center channel sound went faint. Can someone please help me on if the problem could be in my dvd player or receiver. I didn`t know where to post this. I hope this is the right forum

Not sure I understand.

The sound in your center channel became lower than the left and right channels?

I would first check the speaker cable to the center channel and try your test tone setup on the receiver.
