Sony DVP-S7700 Problem
Hello,
I have been reading dvdtalk forums for months but this is my first post.
I encounter a problem with my Sony DVP-S7700 Player since last week while playing the following disks:
Yojimbo (Criterion) - At 2:40 minutes, the player would freezed and skiped a few seconds.
Joy Ride (Fox) - The player freezed after playing "Fuller Kissed Vanna" Deleted Scene at 2:56 minutes and gave me a Dirty Disk message.
Eagle Shooting Heroes (HK import) - This is the worst case out of the three. The player freezed and skiped throughout the movie and also gaves me the Dirty Disks message.
These disks are newly open and there is no dust and scratch on the surface. I had also used a laser head cleaner but still not helpful. I bought this player on May 6, 2001 so it just past the warranty period. Could you please give me some advise?
