Boston Acoustics Question/prices?
I am about to buy a new system and I decided to go cheaper than originally expected on speakers. I am getting:
(4) VR 965 MSRP $499.95 for $299.95/ea
(1) VR 920 (center) MSRP $599.95 for $339.95
Also buying a Yamaha RX-v 2200 receiver MSRP $1199.95 for $850.95
this is at a local B&M...the only thing I do, is agree to buy a warranty on one things....$110 on receiver for 5 years...can anyone else beat these prices?

I got the VR-940s to hold me over till I can get my Paradigm Studio 60s and I just love them. I can't stand speakers with built in powered subs, even a $200 external sub I think produces a lot cleaner bass. May also want to check Paradigm, PSB and Energy, they should have some good speakers in your price range. Just bring a CD you know well and audition them.

I assume you are in Denver Metro then? Can you get me a better deal on an RX-V3000? I will make it worth your while if you can save me a decent amount.

I have 3 THX BA speakers, a few small ones for the back, and a VR500 sub. Just put a few 4x6s in my van. You just can't go wrong with BA
