Temporary FP installation—what do you do w/ your cables?

I'm toying w/ the idea of getting a portable FP projector. I don't have the space for a permanent installation, so this would be a bring it out when needed situation. Just wondering what some of you who have similar setups do with your cabling when the FP is not in use.

Run the cables along the baseboards, or just unplug them and coil them up with rest of the gear. Portable FP projectors are just that--"portable". They were made for this kind of thing.

If you are placing it on a coffee table, try keeping it in your AV stack all cabled up and then pull it out and set in on the table when you need it. Loop the cables in such a way so that if someone trips over the cables they won't pull the projector or other gear onto the floor. Also toss something on the floor as a signal to people that "cables are on the floor-be careful".
