Trinitron Picture Pinch (help)
I noticed my picture has a little bit of a pinch in the middle, vertically. I especially notice it with DVD and GameCube which are both input with S-Video.
I would like to fix it if it's not too much trouble. I've read a few very informative sites that have been referred to in this forum but have not seen anything about this specific problem. I don't know if there's a term for this "pinch", in which case I may have read past it.
It looks kind of like this:
. ______________
......................
......................
.\...................../
./.....................\
......................
______________
(the dots are for spacing)
Any help is appreciated including references to web sites and relevant threads (although I did a search).

Foloow the link I posted in this thread for accessing Sony service menus.
To answer you question though, to fix this problem you are going to need to go in the service menus and adjust settings such as pin cushion and horizontal/vertical positions. A good disc to use for the calibration is Avia or in a pinch THX optimode found on most newer THX certified discs.
