American Hardware?
Are there any companies out there that make Home Theater equipment here in the US?

What kind of equipment?
There are several small speaker manufacturers. I am not aware of any consumer electronic products made for mass market that are made strictly in the US.
I know that McIntosh is US based but I could not be sure that the parts that they use are not made overseas.

Absolutely. Too much to list. But, you're not going to find it at Best Buy or similar. It's more common in the higher end market.
My two-channel system currently includes an Acurus amp (US made). It's with a Creek passive preamp (UK made), NAD CD player (UK designed/Far East made), B&W speakers (UK made), AudioQuest cable/wires (US made).
Regarding home theater specifically, there are certainly a smaller percentage of pre/pros and recievers made in the US than some other components. And any processing component like that will have parts from all over the place. The vast majority of DVD players are made in the Far East too. But there are many US made amps and speakers and accessories to choose from. Most good speakers are made in Canada, USA, and UK.
