DVD player that handles layer changes well?

I was going to get some cheap DVD player for my bedroom but I decided to just bring my old sony upstairs and get a better DVD player for the living room.

My Sony dvd player (mid range at best) doesn't handle layer changes well at all. Extremely noticeable and quite annoying to me.

I have a VVega 36" and plan on spending 200-300 USD. I can fluctuate on the price if it is worth it though.

Thanks in adv.

Denon's DVD players have memory buffers to minimixe or eliminate noticable layer changes. The entry-level model 800 is in your price range.

I never notice them with my Harman Kardon DVD50.
