It is a very nice set-up but there are a few things to note.
First, that is an EX/ES receiver so if you want to maximize, it's functionality you will need to add a center surround speaker or two.
The NHT speakers contained in this set are very power hungry. The receiver is rated at 6 ohms so it's 8 ohm output is going to be less then 100 WPC the receiver is rated. It may be a god idea to buy a separate external amp for the mains if you think something is lacking if you get the set (you may be perfectly happy)
Also Onkyo will be coming out with new receivers soon for this year. The feature set will probably very similar to what is offered in last years model, but it is worth noting

Actually the Onkyo 797 is rated at 8 Ohms.
100 watts x 6 into 8 ohms (20-20,000 Hz) at 0.08% THD. Excellent receiver. It should run you about $750-850.
I would listen to the NHT speakers before you buy. I respect the company for producing a high quality product, but I personally like the sound of some other brands better. Listen to the Paradigm Monitor series, the PSB Image series, some B&W's, and the NHT's and find the speakers that sound the best to you. $2000 for 5 speakers and a sub gives you many excellent options.
