In "a couple of years," I'd hope that DVD-A, SACD, and whatever other formats loom in the future will actually be passable via a digital connection.
I guess that Pioneer is also rumored to have a universal player in the works, but (assuming it ever happens) the MSRP will be significantly higher than the Apex player.

This looks to be a fantastic machine and I'm trying to locate a dealer with one in the area to demo it for myself.

Anywhere online that has info about the player you mentioned? I'm getting the DVD-A, SACD bug and I'd really hate to have seperate units for every source, you know? (as if my ent. center isn't crowded enough
