Is this a good match?
Hi everyone, can someone tell me if the Polk RM7600 speakers would be a good match for the Onkyo TXDS797 Receiver? Or how about the Atlantic Technology System 4.5 speakers? This is my first system so I really need some help! Thanks!

I don't know either of those speaker lines particularly well. Nice receiver, though
Other speakers to look at (listen to): Paradigm reference series, B&W 600 series, some of the PSB models
It would be helpful if we knew your budget and whether you need a full 5.1 setup or just the mains.

Hi edclem, well my budget is between say $1000. and $1500. for the speakers, I'd like to keep it around that anyway. And yes I need the whole setup for 5.1 with sub. Thanks for the help and I'll check on the speakers you posted about. If anyone else has any ideas please let me know because I'd like to get them yesterday. lol. Thanks. Oh BTW , I don't have room for the big tall speakers.
