Help - Need A Sony Remote Control

Does anyone know how I can buy a sony remote control. Just need the remote, I bought a open box dvd player and a receiver both without remote controls.

I'd like to buy original sony remotes instead of those universal ones if possible. Any suggestions on how or where to buy just remote controls would be greatly appreciated... Thanks in advance!

If you email me the model #s of the receiver & DVD I can probably hook you up.

You can usually get a decent universal remote to work with it that you can pick up at any electronics store...or even walmart.

eBay

Check eBay. I recently bought an original remote (not "universal") for my 15 year old Pioneer LD Player. It was under $20 shipped and in excellent condition.

Check out this site: http://www.replacementremotes.com/

I've ordered from them before and they have good quality merchandise.

All Circuit City stores carry actual Sony remotes or the universal ones that are Sony compatible.

Speaking of which...Anyone know how to get a manual for a Sony remote (and one for an older receiver for that matter...DA30ES)?

While I would say Sony remotes are by far the best OEM remot controls out there, they are way over priced if you need a replacement.

I would get a One For All Cinema 7 for about $25.00 - this is by far the best remote on the market - I use it more than my Phillips Pronto

Yeah. I bought one once from a Sony service center=OUCH!

You might want to try www.remotes.com.

DodiN,

They also have owner's manuals.
