New Receiver!!
I had my Technics SA-DX930 receiver go out on me last week so I figured it was time for a new one. I studied and shopped in both local stores and web sites to decide which to buy. I had it down to Denon, Onkyo, or Yamaha then I started looking at Marantz's new line of receivers. I finally ordered the Marantz SR5200 with the new Pro-Logic II system. It had more power than the Onkyo 595 and it was less money than the Denon 2802 so that and Marantz's good name won me over. Now I can't wait for it to show up this coming week.

Although a Denon fan myself, the Marantz are good values! I have a Marantz 5000 in one area of the house and the Denon 4800 in the main HT area....although the Denon blows away the Marantz....the Marantz was a heck of lot cheaper and not bad sound at all for the price I paid for it....
In short...you'll be very happy with the Marantz!!!!! Enjoy!

I just got the e-mail my receiver has been shipped. The vendor told me when I ordered it that the SR5200 was not going to be released until mid-Sept. So now my waiting is over, it's in UPS's hands now.
