Suggestions needed for dipole surrounds & ex speakers

A friend of mine bought a 7.1 receiver and needs a pair of dipole surrounds and a pair of surround ex speakers.

What do you guys/gals suggest?

Thanks!

What are the main speakers in the system? I'd suggest getting something within the same brand/line so they're matched-that way it will sound a lot better.

Yeah, it's preferable to match the center and mains.

But, if this is a question about logistics, then I'd go with dipoles or bipoles for the sides and a direct radiating pair for the rear centers (EX/ES). If all four are bi or di, then I'd think there'd be some cancellation going on with the sound that comes out of the drivers.
