What do you the next sorround will be a high and low chanel?
For objects that moves from the low to the top.
A 6.1 system with 24 bits / 96 khz in each chanel?
A new form of 3D surround system that is so realistical that it actuelly fells like you are in the movie
Or what about a smell system where you can actually smell the movie ?
What do you think ?

Do the subs in a .2 system get different signals?
It would seem odd to have that, but who knows!

Yup. They would have to. Otherwise, it'd be 10.1.

I wonder how that would be beneficial?
Maybe one LFE from main channel info and one LFE from surround channel info?

Actually, for a 10.2 system you don't need a new encoding format.
One of the designers as Lexicon has developed a system that creates "matrix" channels to complete the 10 channels. Stereo subs can just use the content from the left/right main speakers along with the .1 channel. He also claims he could add "ceiling" speakers by using the current 5.1 format. Considering how well Lexicon's logic 7 sounds, I beleive him when he says it's possible.
