the Toshiba SDP-1000 or the Toshiba SDP-1500. I'm very interested in either one of these portable dvd players. From the few reviews I've been able to find on the SDP-1000, it's clear that the picture quality is awesome. I've actually seen the SDP-1500 in action at Best Buy and WOW!!! Very nice and it had an 8 inch screen. Was hoping that owners of either one of these could give me their reviews. Thanks.

Try http://www.audioreview.com, you'll get some decent reviews there (just take some stuff with a grain of salt, as some people have an agenda).
Also, use the search feature here (and at hometheaterforum.com) to find discussion threads on those particular players.
