Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

Anything else that is a decent price and good for two enrolments that I can use this $10 code with?

Wait until tomorrow to see what new pre-orders they add. I fulfilled two different accounts with the Blu-ray pre-orders of The Skin I Live In & South Park Season 15.

Both versions of Hugo are back on the site. And they've added The Deer Hunter, Parenthood, and The Nutty Professor for $11.97 each.

I just did a search for Hugo and nothing is showing up for me.

Alas, they corrected their previous mistake regarding the 3D version. It's now properly listed as 3 discs and the shipping is now $5.99 instead of the $2.99 it was last week.

I see a total of 70 movies and none of them are Hugo blu ray

A search brings up the DVD but that's all I can find.

Try clearing your cache. There were 70 listings yesterday before the 1/31 titles moved over. You should see 59 now.

When you find the DVD, click on the "Also available in:" link for the release you want. (Actually they both have the same text; one is the 3D Blu while the other is the 2D.)

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

I got this fabulous email offer:

Wow, the same as it has been every day for a long time. I looked to see if free shipping or something else went along with that. Nope.

How stupid do they think we are?

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

Hmmm...I got this offer

The problem with this deal is the Blu-Rays are at full price rather than with the 40% discount, so it probably ends up being an even worse deal even with the free shipping.

My offer is better-

B1G1 free on Blu-rays(alas, no free shipping).

However, Blu-rays are also full list price. Hopefully it's only a temporary glitch.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

Was going to post the BLU BOGO code as well.

I'll play around and see if the sale is worth it.

Edit: So far, everything on the site is MSRP, as previously stated. With no FS code, doesnt seem like a good deal. But, thats just me. YMMV.

The BOGO specifies blus bought at regular Club price. Club price is MSRP so there's no glitch.

All I got was the standard 40% BD's offer. But, by looking at these other offers it doesn't look like I am missing much.

I still think that it's a glitch(at least I hope so). If it's not, then why would anyone use the B2G1 free code? That would only be 33% off per title and you're forced into buying 3. Makes no sense. Hopefully the BOGO will be working with the standard 40% off discount tomorrow.

Here's a 50% off (list price) code:

20120205BRST2

This one was posted at bluray.com. Apparently there are all sorts of email offers being sent. None are great.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

Here's another code that I received on a different account-

20120205BRST4A

It's a Buy 2, Get 1 Free code. This one actually does work with the 40% off discount, but unlike the other B2G1 code that Perkinsun Dzees mentioned, this code excludes free shipping. Still not a bad code to fulfill an account. For example, you can take 3 $39.95 list price titles and it will work out to be $23.95 + $23.95 + $6.98(shipping) for a total of $54.88($18.29 per title).

The code you posted comes up not valid.

But I played around with it and used the format of the other codes and found your code is 20120205BRST4A.

That's actually the best one.

My bad. I did type the R in, but my keyboard doesn't always register. The code is indeed 20120205BRST4A.

Thanks.

Looks like it was a one day sale. All of the codes come up as expired.
