I got the email. Used the code and it worked. A very nice twist to it, is when I did it the first time (before the cancelation), I could not get the Blu-ray version... only the SD version. This time I made sure to order my free BLU-RAY KUNG FU PANDA!!!
THANK YOU Columbia House!!!

Longshot, i know, but, i never get any communications from CH, i.e. shipping notifications, etc. I did try to order KFP and got the snail mail letter, but i know i will not get this email. Would someone please PM me the code and i swear i will not post it anywhere.

I got the same email for all three of my accounts. Just like everyone else, the code doesn't work. Either way, this is an odd development. Although the $19.95 price the email quotes would seem to suggest they're offering us the DVD, not the Blu-Ray. Still if they actually want to give me it for free I'll take it.

It worked on both accounts where I ordered KFP. (Received 2 emails)
It did not work on an account of mine where I did not order KFP.
Also it's a one time use. Just out of curiosity I tried it 2x on the same account before logging into the second and it states after it was used that it was no longer valid.

for those they haven't gotten it to work yet - i just called and they said they are sending a revised email out to correct a problem and provide a link.
Doesn't explain why people were getting it to work, but she was like "My supervisor is right here and said they are sending it out in a few mins".
*EDIT*

Worked for me as well and received order confirmation e-mail. This is definitely a first for CH and a very pleasant surprise. Between CH and BMG my media collection is well stocked right now

I just received my S8E4 order from BMG for absolutely nothing. I can get use to paying absolutely nothing for CDs/Blu-Rays.

Same here, brother See my post in the BMG thread...mailman had to leave my mail in one of those USPS mail crates in my shed because I had about 20 boxes from CH and BMG show up at the same time! Damn it feels good to be a gangsta!

I think it is ironic that they are sending us instructions on how to enter codes, just like we have been having to follow since they redesigned their website. Why don't they just fix the code link on the check out page, or remove this code enter spot entirely?

I hope someone can give me advice here...I haven't ordered from CH in a few years but was part of the very first CH deal
I emailed CH to ask about KFP when it was dropped off my recent Blu-ray B1G1 order. They misunderstood my email and placed an order for me for KFP at full price as a preorder. (They've since honored the free one and there's a new order.) Anyway, I emailed them and asked them to cancel the full price order. They said they did in an email response, but there is no indication of such a change in the order status. I called last week - they assured me it was canceled, but it still shows "Scheduled to ship 11/10/08." Should I be concerned about them sending me a duplicate and billing me? Is their order status page that unreliable?
Thanks!

Their order status page is completely unreliable. Sometimes orders will disappear for a day up to a week. Sometimes you get the dvd in the mail when the status page still says processing. Then again, they may have just screwed you too . The status page does usually catch up eventually. Maybe keep an eye on it over the next week. If it doesn't change, call again.
