Their site is fucked up right now. I just tried to email customer service using the contact form on the site(pointless, I know) and when I clicked the send email button, it took me to the sign in screen.

Here's how you FORCE it - at the top where is says DVDs at 50% off, click on the details link. Then click on "Looking for the Offer in Your Mailing?" link and put the promo code in there.

I had Blu-Rays showing up for free in my shopping cart until about five minutes ago. Regular DVD's still work fine, except for the special edition pre-order of Forbidden Kingdom for some reason.

I'm still having blu show up as free in my cart, and can get all the way to the "Review Order" screen, but then it times out.

Be very careful -- if you get an error that says your order did not go through, don't try again -- call first to check to see if it went through. While I was still trying different things (use new card, pay old balance, try from both of my open accounts) I got a call from my credit card company that asked if my three charges to Columbia House were fraud -- I had tried several different times with two different cards -- ahh, lovely.

So I asked her to cancel all but one of my orders. My error was - the website would just sit and think, think, think .... and think some more, and then it would come back with an error that said it could not be processed and to try again later. This happened also with a payment I made two weeks ago, and they double charged my card (getting that taken care of still).

I still have to call about my other account - but just thought you might want to know.

Again -- If you get the website error -- call first before you try to submit your order again. The CSR said they were having problems with the site and that it would be corrected in a few days.

Some are reporting in this thread- http://forum.dvdtalk.com/showthread.php?t=536354 - that our orders might have actually made it through. I certainly hope so, although I'll have to recoup around $150 from CH for the duplicates.

I got the old "Sorry we are unable to process your order..." message but when I went back to the site, my shopping cart was empty, so I'll just cross my fingers it went through and call it a day.

Empty your cart, put the code in, then add the items to your cart. That's how I got it to work.

Also, just placed an order and got to the confirmation page.

I used the number on one of my old invoice cards they send with the order -- 800-262-2001. Choose the option to place an order and you'll get connected right away.
