Free S&H on SETS code (Exp 12/30)
Found this code -
807245 - b1 + 50% off + Free S&H on DVD & BOX SETS
Decided it needed it's own thread for clarity. Since it went over so well last month.
Enjoy.

Thanks Jester.
This is a bit early for me. I was planning to call and open a new account tomorrow. Anyone think I can get it open and fulfill with this before it ends?

Maybe I don't understand your question. Are you just looking for unusually low Sale prices or Special Club prices on sets that are still over $39.94?
If so, then I don't know any except that I'm thinking about getting either Shogun or the new Blade Runner set.
But the savings compared to using a 15%-off code on those isn't very much (only 16 cents for Shogun, and 88 cents for Blade Runner), so I am not feeling a huge urge to jump on those. Another set I have considered is "Taken," but I'm not confident enough for a blind buy, and I have a feeling it can be found cheaper if I just bide my time.
However, as you probably already realized, using a FS code on 2 sets doesn't save you nearly as much money as using it on 1 set.
In the best case, you save $7.99 on shipping, the highest shipping cost, and at worst, $5.99, the lowest shipping cost (let's ignore the 2-disc sets with the cheap shipping costs, because why would you use a FS code instead of a B1G1 code with those?).
If you buy 2 sets, each covering one fulfillment, you save, at worst, $5.99 * 2 = $11.98, and at best $7.99 * 2 = $15.98.
So, the range of advantage of buying 2 sets is anywhere from (11.98 - 7.99) to (15.98 - 5.99) = 3.99 to 9.99.
So I'm thinking about closing out an account with the Aeon Flux animated set and the Tarzan Collection Volume 2. From an account-cycling perspective, the FS code will only save me $2.40 in value over using B1G1 codes, but it's still nice AND I am seriously low on regular DVDs that the club offers that I want to get, so I'm not sure I'll be trying to cycle any accounts any time soon.

I was looking for some good deal 40 dollar set then I would get a 10 dollarish set(after 50% off) and that free dvd in Jan
thats aprox 53 for fulfillments which isn't too bad but not having a sort by price feature is making it really hard to decide b/c it is taking so long
Already have Shogun but BR might be an option...

I'm thinking if this is a good deal to buy the sets I mentioned in this thread (best sets to fulfill an account) http://forum.dvdtalk.com/showthread.php?t=517137
But then again I also would want to buy a pre-order or some recently released movies like Once, Stardust, Harry Potter 5 and balls of fury.

Superman Ultimate:
$12.89(7 enrollments)
+$59.97 (Sups Ultimate)
=$72.86 - 33.60 ($4.80*7) = $39.26 for the Sups set and $4.80 each for the 7 enrollment dvds.
even better with a 3 to fulfill account:
$2.94(6 enrollments)
+$59.97 (Sups Ultimate)
=$62.91 - 28.80 ($4.80*6) = $34.11 for the Sups set and $4.80 each for the 6 enrollment dvds.
Not bad. Wish I had an account to fulfill.

I had just ordered a bunch of the under $20 sets last week with the b1g1 code. It charged shipping on the sets but it still gave you a free dvd and free shipping on that dvd with purchase.

Maximum shipping on an item is $7.99, so if you want to save more than that with a 15%-off code, then you have to have an item that costs more than $7.99/.15=$53.28.
So, Superman Ultimate with 15%-off is:
$2.94 (6 enrollments)
+$59.97 (Superman price)
+$7.99 (Superman shipping)
-$9.00 (15% off)
= $61.90
- 6 x $4.80 (value of 6 enrollment DVDs)
= $33.10 (maybe $33.11, depending on how CH rounds the 15%-off)
Of course, when I got mine, I rashly bought it with FC:
$59.97 + 7.99 - $20 FC = $47.96. (Almost $15 more out of pocket than I needed to spend, AND I lost $20 in FC for no reason.)
I hadn't thought it through, and impulsively bought it because it was the thing I wanted the most from CH at that time. So some could argue that I got my value for it by just getting it and enjoying it, but I really should have just cycled an account. It wasn't until later, with the assistance of others here on the forums, that I saw the wisdom of patiently using the right codes to make the right purchases and really save some money.

I know one is going to be Blade Runner. But I'm not sure what to do with the other. I've got my eye on the Bourne collection, but it's only one fulfillment.

Thanks for the code! Columbia House has the best price around for Quantum Leap seasons (their regular price = DD's sale) so today I was able to get another season. And Free Shipping! Yea!!! LOVE THAT! Used the 60% off code and got a movie too for $5.98. Couldn't afford much more. Didn't need a fulfillment title, but like I said, CH's price on this beats everyone else around.
Thanks jester for posting.
