For years, CH DVD club enrollees were given the option to join a trial membership of Great Fun upon enrolling online or after completing an online transaction (via an offer link at the bottom of the receipt page). I must have joined this dozens of times just to get the free $20 rebate (promptly quitting prior to the 30 day deadline to cancel the trial membership).

With my latest club enrollment, I notice the Great Fun offer has been replaced by a Doubleday Book club offer which is nowhere near as good a value. Is anyone still getting offers/links to join Great Fun? Any tips on how to somehow receive the Great Fun trial membership link/offer again?

I also got the Doubleday book club membership offer. Did not see anything about the Great Fun one so may be gone.

Last year I tried going for a 2nd Great Fun trial for the November DDD sale. I was told I was ineligible due to my previous trial membership.

Anyways, I have not seen the new DoubleDay Book Club offer but my brother unwittingly join another shopping club membership (not Great Fun) that promised $10 cash back when he placed a DD order last month. He is supposed to cancel within 30 days and owe nothing.

EDIT: Oops! Just realized we are discussing CH. I saw no Great Fun offer there last night when I placed a few orders. They are still active though. They may have just scaled back their affiliations with various e-tailers.
