I ordered Bee HD with Into the Wild. No movement online, nothing in the mail, no charge to my credit card.

Emailed them, the CH monkey wrote back saying since Bee came out tomorrow, they wouldn't ship either movie until then. Which of course is a change to the way they have traditionally handled things (not that I think the CH monkey knew what he was talking about).

Bee HD is still in my order. My other title(Beowulf HD) is "awaiting credit approval". Whatever that means in CH "lingo" - probably will be on my doorstep tomorrow.

Just checked my account and Bee Movie HD has dropped from my order. But, The Assassination of Jesse James Blu is "awaiting credit approval" I have a second order with Walk Hard Blu and Superbadd Blu. Superbad is also "awaiting credit approval" Anyone know what the hold up with the "awaiting credit approval" thing is? The best is that Assassination of Jesse James shows it, but with a balance of $0.00, gee, hope I have enough in my account to cover that one.

^If you paid with a CC it means they are awaiting verification that the card is good, etc. BUT I've had that still be on an order a day or two after it has shown up at my doorstep.

My order (mentioned 4 posts above) has had Bee HD drop off, now shows as a $0.00 "awaiting credit approval" order for Into the Wild. Hopefully it is en route.

Yeah, I know, but my dilemma is that I placed 3 orders with the same CC and I have already received the entire 3rd order. So, I am not sure how they could have verified my card for that order and still not done so for these two. Anyone ever have Columbia House claim that they could not verify as a means of canceling an order that otherwise should not have been canceled? (I am fearing that this is what be happening in regard to my order that had Bee Movie HD in it)

"Awaiting credit approval" is basically meaningless. I've had items get stuck on that for a week after I had already received them. I wouldn't even worry about it.

So are there any titles still available that this little trick will work with? I see they actually pulled Bee Movie HD already.

I've had very similar things occur. That's why I take what's there with a grain of salt. I still have a FC order from over 6 months ago showing "processing" when I received it a week or so after ordering. I tend to look at status of "awaiting credit approval" and "processing" as signs of an order going through.

"Awaiting credit approval" is a catch-all category used when a BOGOF order is waiting for a title to be released. Columbia House sometimes waits for the pre-order to be released before shipping the freebie. When this happens it is marked "Awaiting credit approval". When the pre-order is released the designation should change to "pending".

What will happen to orders with a title that is canceled, I couldn't say. It will be interesting to find out. I made sure I didn't order titles that were likely to be canceled because I didn't want to hassle with it.

My order for Bee Movie HD-DVD has dropped off. My free title (August Rush Blu-Ray) is now showing Pending instead of Awaiting Credit Approval! My total cost is showing as $0.00!
